Daily update is a feature that lets users receive notifications from your Action on a regular schedule. They appear as Assistant prompts, so it’s important to design them well to ensure that they provide value and don’t get ignored.
To configure daily updates for your Action, first create the intent you want to use in the Develop console. Then add the daily update subscription flow to a scene, either as a mid-conversation registration prompt or as an exit prompt (shown below). You can also personalize how frequently your Action provides new information by using the personalize daily updates option.
During daily stand-ups, team members share brief status updates while standing in a circle. The daily meetings are quick gut-checks that allow everyone to reflect on progress and ask for help if needed. Weekly updates are more in-depth reflection and feedback loops that allow teams to review their work, determine whether they are on track to meet goals, and plan for the future. Both have major benefits for the team.
